E. BARDAJÍ + IPIÑA&NIETO, CHILE

Ipiña + Nieto is an architecture firm currently established in Santiago which, in a short time, has been recognised in Chile with awards such as the first prize for adapting the former Brazilian consulate in Chile to turn it into the Brazil-Chile Cultural Centre, and first prize for the renovation and extension of the Brazilian Embassy in Chile.

Shortly after establishing themselves, in 2012 they won first prize for their work in the emergency at Puerto Saavedra in the Araucanía region. In the past year, they have been heavily involved in the construction of 16 apartments in Calle Monjitas and the adaptation of the gymnasium at the San Benito School in the capital. It has also been possible to see their work recently in the “Export. Spanish architecture abroad” exhibition at the ICO foundation in Madrid.

All this led us to consider a cooperation agreement with these two Spanish architects, Jorge Nieto and Tadea de Ipiña, who is also Chilean, on any projects we undertake in this country.
