We have received the communication prepared jointly by the Madrid City Council and the international network of cities C40, that the international team formed by Sensual City Studio + Bardají Architects + Urban Care Laboratory and the Periferia Study, we have been one of the two selected finalists for the second phase of the Reinventing Cities contest, from the areas of opportunity of Villaverde and Usera.
This contest is based on the United Nations conference on Climate Change. It is designed to promote urban regeneration and demonstrate that the union between the public and private sectors can offer an urban development without carbon emissions and economically viable, transforming the underutilized spaces of cities into models of sustainability and resilience.
